Yirgacheffe, in southern Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone, is one of the most celebrated origins in speciality coffee — known for its purity, elegance, and floral complexity. This lot comes from smallholder farmers in the village of Banko Gotiti, where coffee is grown on small family plots, hand-picked, and selectively harvested.
After picking, the coffee is washed and dried on raised African beds, where slow, even airflow preserves the integrity of each bean. The result is everything Yirgacheffe promises: a clean, refined cup with the region's signature brightness.

Ethiopia is referred as the birthplace of coffee since Coffea arabica’s origin goes back to Ethiopia’s Southwestern Highlands and contiguous region of South Sudan
The flavours of Ethiopian coffees are notably diverse – from citrusy and floral to candied fruits and ripe tropical fruits.
The washed coffees tend to be elegant, complex and delicious. The ones with a natural process can be wildly fruity.
