Colombia - Huila Pitalito

Coffee with a chocolatey, fruity profile, and notes of caramel, fruit, and flower, very sweet, smooth, with a medium body and medium acidity.

This coffee from the Cadefihuila cooperative has a total of 3,500 members and operates in 28 municipalities in the Huila department. This cooperative brings together a significant group of small coffee growers from the region, most of whom own between two and three hectares of land. This ensures that our coffee is processed correctly, as most coffee growers work with their families and are responsible for the proper harvesting, processing, and drying of the coffee.

This batch specifically comes from coffee growers located in the Pitalito region, a privileged area for the cultivation of specialty coffees. 

The washing process is traditional and the drying is 100% done in the sun, carried out by small farmers. Furthermore, only coffees with a characteristic flavor factor in the cup, superior to the standard coffees of the region, were considered.
