With over 60 years of history, Cadefihuila has become a cornerstone of Colombia’s coffee industry. The cooperative plays a vital role in guaranteeing the purchase of coffee from producers, operating close to origin with permanent buying points, immediate payment, and fair pricing. This role in regulating coffee market prices and crop quality has been fundamental to the stability and growth of the sector, supporting both producers and long-term quality across the region.

The Departmental Cooperative of Coffee Growers of Huila (Cadefihuila) is a non-profit organization built on principles of solidarity and direct support for farmers.

Alongside this, Cadefihuila develops ongoing programs to improve production standards across its farms, guided by certifications such as Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, 4C, and C.A.F.E. Practices. These initiatives allow the cooperative to meet the growing demand for responsibly sourced coffee, ensuring transparency, quality, and positive impact throughout the supply chain.
