Brazil – Três Barras Horácio’s ancestors arrived in the region decades ago. Since then much has changed both in terms of quality and development. To Horácio sustainability is measured by life quality; despite the hard work, his and his neighbours’ life standard is very dignifying. In 2003 Horácio started looking for quality coffee. Inspired by the taste of the espresso he tasted in a coffee event and understanding that the difficult moment after the 2002 crisis would be a moment of opportunity, he decided to invest in producing washed coffees. Today he grows 14 coffee varieties that reach 84-85 points according to SCA. Horácio is engaged in building the identity of the Matas de Minas Region because he knows the importance of organizing producers so that everyone can produce coffee with hygiene and quality. Perfect for filter coffees our Três Barras is super sweet with delicate acidity and clean finish.
