Procaffeinating (n.) the tendency to not start anything until you’ve had a cup of coffee
This year, we also have ¨Cascara¨ from Las Lajas farm. Cascara the Spanish translation of the word “shell”, is the husk of the coffee cherry.
For many years these husks were simply discarded or used as fertilizer for crops, but a unique flavor profile and rich antioxidant profile has helped grow Cascara’s popularity in recent years.
It’s great to use for Cold brew and tea.
Suggestion: 7g of cascara to 150ml of hot water (100 degrees) – infusion 5 minutes.
