Procaffeinating (n.) the tendency to not start anything until you’ve had a cup of coffee
Our Inzahabu comes from the Butihinda washing station, where between 2500 and 3500 coffee farmers deliver their coffees. The washing station has as its water source the Mugobe, from Masaka and Ngara Mountain at 2000m named “Long life-drink gold”. Masaka and Ngara, are reputed to be gold mines and in Kirundi, Bantu language, “Inzahabu Coffee” means “Gold Coffee”.
This washed Bourbon was hand picked by many smallholder farmers who joined their crops at the Butihinda washing station where it was fully washed with a 14 hour fermentation, and sun-dried on raised beds.
